Emma Webb

Head of EU University Partnerships, Coursera

Emma Webb leads academic partnerships for Europe, the Middle East, and Australia at Coursera, where she works with universities to find and deliver course content that will have a transformative impact on the lives of learners. Coursera launched in April 2012 with the mission of providing universal access to the world's best education, and today has over 15 million learners worldwide. Prior to joining Coursera, Emma led communications strategy for high-growth startup companies in San Francisco and Beijing.
 
Emma graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she studied Public Policy and East Asian Studies, and was a Princeton-in-Asia fellow in Beijing. Emma is passionate about the power of open access to education to change the world, and especially, the lives of women.
