Previously, Mr. Newcomb was a Vice President of Omidyar Network, a philanthropic investment firm. Prior to ON, Mr. Newcomb served for 14 years as Executive Director of Golden Gate Community Inc., a community-based organization in San Francisco, California.
Mr. Newcomb holds a Doctor of Education from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Science degree in development economics from the University of Bath.
